Ben Fierer
Ben Fierer is firm believer that all people should be given equal opportunities to experience the world in which they live. He is a licensed social worker and has worked as a specialized therapist for 2 years. His philosophy of supports is formulated from both his education and his experiences in the field related to viewing services through a lens of Social Role Valorization. He has worked in a variety of positions in the field supporting people with intellectual disabilities and autism for over 26 years.
Ben started as a Direct Support Professional and has worked in many supervisory positions, primarily within residential services. He also worked as a bench jeweler for multiple years and taught Jewelry and Metal Design at a local community college.
Ben enjoys exploring new foods, reading, sitting with his dog, and spending time with friends.
